'Catch The Reading Bug' With Rick This Summer
This summer libraries across the country will be running a program called "Catch The Reading Bug" To be part of this campaign they will host various speakers and stage fun events to encourage reading. I'm all for that! Many of my early butterfly hunting trips were among the stacks of my local branch. That is where I began searching for the always elusive, Papilio antimachus. I combed the racks for a glimpse of Trogonoptera trojana or found myself mesmerized by the sheer brilliance of Morpho aega.
My library gave me the opportunity to become familiar with butterflies from all around the world and with the authors of the books that I found them in. That is why I am very excited to announce that I will be appearing at several libraries in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. If you will be in the area please stop in for a 'Fun Time'. If you want to laugh and cheer while learning how to care for butterflies join me at a branch near you. I'll show you how to raise butterflies with junk that you have lying around the kitchen. I'll even teach you how to make a wish come true. If you have a copy of any of my books I will be honored if you allow me to autograph it for you. Maybe together we can "Catch The Reading Bug"
